Founded by Annabelle Magee (née Slingsby), Clear View operates two boutique practices in Lincoln — Burton Road and Eastgate in the Cathedral Quarter — both offering exceptional, personalised eyecare.

We believe eyecare is about far more than a routine sight test. By taking the time to understand you as an individual, we provide care tailored to your unique visual needs. Patients are seen by the same optometrist at every visit, ensuring continuity, consistency, and trusted long-term care.

From reception through to examination and dispensing, you will be looked after by a highly qualified, attentive team focused on your comfort and confidence.

  • We don’t use ‘puff of air test’ to test for glaucoma
  • We assess children from 6 months old
  • We’re the only optician in Lincoln offering the Low Vision NHS Service
  • We provide Colorimetry and Visual stress assessments

 

Clinical Excellence & Advanced Technology

Both practices are equipped with modern diagnostic technology to deliver thorough, up-to-date eye examinations. At both clinics, Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) provides detailed retinal imaging, allowing early detection and monitoring of eye disease — often before symptoms appear.

We take time to explain each stage of your examination, so you remain fully informed throughout your visit

Clear View Opticians is NHS accredited, welcoming both NHS and private patients. Our team is happy to advise if you are unsure about NHS entitlement.
